Buckinghamshire New University has boosted its performance in this year’s Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF) 2018, earning a Silver Award in the scheme which recognises excellence in learning and teaching in higher education. We are delighted to have achieved a Silver Award and that the panel recognised the excellence of our learning and teaching and our efforts to create a supportive learning community with small class sizes, highly interactive teaching and focused employment-related studies.

Buckinghamshire New University is proud of our national and international achievements and awards we won and nominated in multiple discipline especially the Nursing Associate Trainee of the Year and Student Placement of the Year: Hospital at the prestigious Student Nursing Times Awards at the Grosvenor House on Park Lane, London. We are also proud of the achievements of our nursing staff and students, who are widely recognised for their teaching excellence, dedication to their profession, and their broad range of skills in a variety of fields.

Our Student Union ranked the 1st position in the year 2018 and 3rd position in the year 2019 in the UK – NSS Survey.

Fashion courses at Bucks New University have been named the best in London and the South East according to the Guardian University Guide 2020. The degree programmes, which include Fashion Design and Textile Design, also rank fifth best nationally in the independently compiled league tables. Design degree courses at the University – including Creative Advertising; Product Design; Graphic Design; Illustration; and Interior and Spatial Design – were also ranked eighth best in the UK. This news from the Guardian University Guide is testament to our continuing commitment to be a leading university for professional and creative education and focused employment-related studies.
